NEW Hugo & Emily at LaPalma – A huge PHoPS thank you to Marty and everyone who made last night at LaPalma such a success. A shout out to the serving staff at LaPalma who took such good care of us as well. If anyone has final dollar amounts that were raised for www.anysoldier.com, please let me know. As always it’s great to have Hugo and Emily back in the Pacific Northwest. If you missed them last night, you have several more chances over the next few days see the February calendar below.
Thank you outgoing BOD Members! We would like to thank Alicia Smith, Anne Johnston and Dave Calhoun for their service during 2009 to our club. It’s a lot of work and you made it seem easy and effortless. We truly appreciate your spirit and dedication to making the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound such a great success. You will be missed. Help Find a cure for MS – Club Member Deanna Wentz Shain is signed up to participate in the Walk MS event on April 11, 2010 and would like to ask for your support and contributions to meet her fundraising goal for this worthwhile charity. George Margetan has taken on the challenge of producing a new monthly on-line newsletter for the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound and is doing a phabulous job. Deadline for submission is the 22nd of the month for publication on the 2nd of the next month. TIME CHANGE: FIRST 2010 BUSINESS MEETING – February 28, 2010 11:30 a.m.
This will be the first of two business meetings for our club during 2010. It’s vital that everyone attend so that you can all weigh in on things that are important to you. We will be announcing our 2010 officers, the 2009 Parrot Head of the Year, revising our club by-laws and many other important club issues will be discussed.
