The PHoPS Calendar has just been updated.   We’ve added a Halloween event, a holiday/December event and even a March 2011 event!  There’s lots to do, so check out the calendar and come on out to support the club!

Your club is now recognized by the IRS as a 501c4 (social service) organization.  After many months of hard work on the part of Carol Olson, Bobi Atlee and Patti McClements we have received official designation by the IRS.  This unfortunately does not mean that your donations are tax deductible, it simply means that we are not taxed on the money that flows through our club from our wonderful donors on to our selected charities.  If you have questions or need further information, please contact Carol Olson at treasurer@phops.com

If you ordered club tickets for the October 19th Portland Buffett Show, your money is now due.  Please send $126 per ticket ordered to our Treasurer Carol Olson at 22437 – 32 Avenue West, Brier WA  98036.  Even if your plans have changed and you can no longer use those tickets, you must pay for them and then re-sell them to another member in good standing of any Parrot Head Club.  If you need more information please contact Carol at treasurer@phops.com or Bobi Atlee at prez@phops.com

PayPal – If you wish to use PayPal, please contact Carol prior to making your payment as you will be responsible for paying the fees so that the $126 total comes to the club to pay for the ticket.

Join your Board of Directors tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Southcenter Azteca for the monthly board meeting!  Meeting begins promptly at 6:00.  Tonight’s topics include recaps of LBA and Tin Cup and the charitable donations made to great organizations as well as our new designation as a 501c4 tax exempt organization!  There’s lots happening, be a part of it!

This Friday, July 23rd, join the club for the annual Tin Cup Chalice golf tournament at North Shore Golf Course.   For the first time ever, a $10,000 prize for a hole in one will be available!  For more information, check out the calendar section!  Fore!

Don’t forget that Tiki Phil and Kathy Pompeo are hosting the Thank God the Tiki Bar is Still Open party this Saturday, July 24th.  House opens at 3:00, live music by Scott Kirby and Dave Edmiston begins at 4;30  Check out the calendar section for more details, charity information and RSVP details!
