2016 is the 10th year of this cruise! See for a bit of info about the Spirit of 76 which we’ll be on following the Argosy ships and Christmas boats.

Food/drink details:  The Spirit of 76 is now a licensed boat under the State’s liquor laws.  They will have Corona and other beers, restaurant quality wine, and a variety of spirits available for purchase.  They will accept credit cards and cash. Please do not bring your own coolers and beverages as we have allowed in years past.

Please bring a potluck item to share with the group.  We usually have everything from appetizers/salads to small entrees and desserts.

Plates, napkins, plastic ware, ice, and drink cups will be provided – bring any serving utensils that might be needed for your dish.

Dress: You’ll want to wear layers.  Bring a warm coat, hat and gloves.  Several years ago we had snowball fights!  We have had cold and rain, too.  Please no high heel shoes per the boat’s request.

Boat details: The main deck is enclosed, heated, restrooms, bar area, tables for food, chairs.  The upper deck is 1/2 open and 1/2 covered – chairs and tables too.  Smoking allowed on upper deck outside only.

We cruise around Lake Union to view decorated houses, boats, and floating homes.  We meet the Argosy Christmas ships at Portage Bay where they stop for caroling.  Then over to Gas Works park for Caroling and back to the dock around 10:00 pm.  The crew will take out the trash and put away all the tables etc.  We just ask you to help put all our trash in the cans and take home any leftover food and serving dishes.  This event is open to friends too.   Kids under 16 are free, but remember this is a party boat trip.  Please remember, we are not responsible for your kids, you are.
